A Shower for Mend

The Youth girls will host a baby shower to benefit the Mend Crisis Pregnancy Center on Saturday, Aug. 27, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Cake, punch and finger foods will be served. Please bring new or gently used items to be donated. Anything baby-related is needed from bottles and clothing to playpens and car seats and, of course, diapers. The future is almost here, so keep in mind these two events on the Calvary Baptist Church calendar. We’ll be taking pictures for a new church directory March 23-26. Mend Pregnancy Resource Center

The church is collecting donations for the Mend Pregnancy Resource Center of Tulsa. The center’s website says its mission is to provide alternatives to women facing unplanned pregnancies, and demonstrate the compassion of Christ so that women may learn to rely on His love and provision for a well-adjusted and meaningful life.
